NEW features for 2008

  • BBC Hard Talk’s Stephen Sackur will be the chairman and facilitator on the main stage, bringing a professional journalist’s perspective to the programme

  • Stringfever will wow you with their electric instruments and unique sound at the Gala dinner

  • An improved exhibition marquee will be the setting for light lunches and a first night drinks reception.  Plasma screens will allow delegates to enjoy the exhibition without missing what’s happening on the conference main stage

  • In addition to the Internet Café, a new Networking Area will provide delegates with a quiet place to do business

  • An improved FM World Conference Daily Issue will arrive in time for breakfast on day two of the main conference.  The tabloid-sized newspaper will report on the sessions, debates and social side from the first day as well as producing news, views and comment from across the industry. The popular FM-themed crossword will also make a welcome return

  • Tim Smit, founder of the Eden Project, will inspire you in the conference closing session on Wednesday 19th March
